Autobiographical Writing Workshop for people of Italian origin (Thursday April 4th @10-1pm EST/7 weeks)This seven-week workshop held by Rita Cavigioli, Professor Emerita of Italian Studies at the University of Missouri will guide participants through phases and the steps of autobiographical writing, encompassing the following objectives: Reflect on your present • Revisit memories and connections • Describe your emotions • Embrace nostalgia and regrets • Reflect on identities and legacies • Look at your experience from different points of view • Use your imagination to learn to move easily in space and time • Compare and support yourself with the experiences of others. Modality: Prof. Cavigioli will conduct the workshop from her hometown Turin. Participants will be connecting over zoom. Those in the Pittsburgh area, will be hosted at Istituto Mondo Italiano (7604 Charleston Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15218 - Regent Square area). |
